Many day sail charter boats hold a maximum of 6 passengers. Charters are available in half day sail trips, full day sail trip, dinner cruises, snorkeling excursions, sunset sails, private custom charters, and also provide overnight trips or term charters to Jost Van Dyke and other islands in the USVI & BVI. Prices on day sail trips average around $75 to $175 a person, depending on the size of the boat and length of the trip. Most day sail charter boats provide; snacks, lunch, open bar, snorkel equipment, and floats to lounge around in. Ask your captains when you are planning your trip.

Let the captain show you the sights, or design a trip of your own, there is no itinerary except your own, the boat and captain are yours for the day. Hi, I'm Jason the captain of Survivan. I grew up in Texas and loving the outdoors have spent my childhood summers hiking and climbing all over Colorado. I received a degree in anthropology then moved to Alaska to become a mountaineering guide. I spent four years managing a snowboard shop in Breckenridge Colorado during the winters and guiding on mountains in Alaska during the summer. After having enough of an endless winter I traveled to Thailand where the tropics and the ocean drew me in. I had been sailing for years so I decided to move to the Virgin Islands where I have lived on a boat ever since.
Michelle’s family reunion has been coming to St. John for a decade, yet she is the first to actually make St. John her home. Being the Activities Director at Maho Bay Resort was the perfect place to start off. After 3 months at Maho she met Jason and learned to sail. Afterwards Michelle worked for a while on the mega yacht Paline. Survivan became her new home. She now enjoys being the first mate.
