Inshore and light tackle fishing trips are also available in case you are interested in snook, permit or tarpon. However, such trips may not accommodate more than 4 guests at a time.

A full day fishing charter costs about $700-800 and a half day trip costs between $450 and $500. Trips generally cost $100 per person for an hour. Most of the fishing is organized around Lang Bank, around 10 miles off St. Croix. You can catch your prize, where fish are tempted not only by your bait, but also the ocean currents and cool waters of Lang Bank.

You can also indulge in some fishing competitions, if you happen to be in St. Croix around that time.
